Information we collect

MarineRoster collects information you choose to submit through service requests, quick-contact requests and provider applications. This may include your name, contact details, vessel information, location, requested services, written descriptions, photographs and business information.

We also collect limited technical and usage information, such as pages viewed, general location, device and browser information, referral source and interactions with the site.

How we use information

• Review and respond to requests and applications.
• Coordinate introductions to appropriate independent marine-service providers.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve MarineRoster.
• Measure site performance and understand which services and markets are most useful.
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent misuse.

When information is shared

We may share the details needed to respond to a request with relevant independent providers. We may also use service providers that support website hosting, communications, file storage and analytics. Information may be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect MarineRoster, its users or others.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site traffic and successful request activity. MarineRoster has enabled Google's email redaction and redaction of the issue URL parameter. Our custom lead events do not send customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, free-text descriptions, uploaded photographs or MarineRoster confirmation numbers to Google Analytics.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to handle requests, manage provider relationships, maintain business records and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct or delete information you have provided, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. Email requests@marineroster.com.

Independent providers and external sites

MarineRoster makes introductions to independent businesses. Their privacy practices and external websites are governed by their own policies.

Children and policy updates

MarineRoster is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as our services change; the effective date above will identify the latest version.
